Who is responsible for the information

This site is operated for Beit-El, which is responsible for the information collected through it. Day-to-day operation of the site, including the automated content system behind it, is carried out by a service provider on the business's behalf.

What information is collected

Information you provide yourself: on the contact page you are asked for a name and a phone number, and you may add an email address and a message. Nothing else is requested, and there is no registration or user account on this site.

Information collected automatically: the site uses Google Analytics, which records which pages were viewed, roughly how long, the type of device and browser, an approximate location derived from the IP address, and how the visitor reached the site. This is statistical and is not used to identify a visitor by name.

What the information is used for

Details you send through the form are used to reply to your enquiry and for nothing else. The statistical data is used to understand which content is read, so the site can be improved.

Information is not sold and is not passed on for anyone else's advertising. No marketing mail is sent without separate consent, and consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Who else sees it

An enquiry sent through the form reaches the business by email, and a copy is sent to the service provider that operates the site, for operation and support. The message is delivered through an email service provider, and the statistical data is held by Google. Some of these services store information on servers outside Israel.

Beyond this, details are not passed to third parties, other than where required by law or by a competent authority.

How long it is kept

The site itself keeps no customer database: an enquiry is sent as an email and stays in the business's mailbox for as long as the business keeps it. Statistical data is retained by Google under its own retention settings.

Cookies

Google Analytics places cookies used to count visits and distinguish one visit from another. In addition, your choice of a light or dark display is stored in your browser alone and never reaches the business.

Cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings. The site will keep working without them.

Your rights
